2014 ISPA Conference & Expo: An Event to Remember

This year we returned to the International Spa Association (ISPA) Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, NV. Each year our busy show schedule forces us to make tough decisions. We simply can’t hit every show, as much as we’d like to. But after returning to this year’s ISPA event, we have regrets that we didn’t return sooner—and we vow that we won’t be missing this event in the future.

A Truly Professional Meet and Greet

ISPA’s expo provides the advantage that many shows do: it allows us to meet with end users that are familiar with our products, as well as introduce the Intrinsics line to folks who have never even heard of us (gasp!). However, this event has a more polished and professional appeal, one that we certainly appreciate. We love waxing poetic about our products, and plenty of people got an earful when they stopped by our booth. We made some high-quality contacts, and we’ve been pleased to see an influx of inquiries flood our inbox.

From the Mouth of the President

One of our favorite conversations occurred with Lynne McNees, the President of ISPA. She was kind enough to spend some time at our booth, and we enjoyed getting to know her. She also had these kind things to say about us:

“The Intrinsics booth was so fun—always busy and very inviting, from the innovative design to the wonderful ladies that were always smiling. ISPA attendees welcomed this exciting new company into the community.”

Thanks for making us blush, Lynne. We’ll look forward to meeting with you again next year.

A Philanthropic and Star-Studded Affair

Aside from the opportunity to showcase our products, ISPA does a great job of entertaining, too. We were treated to speakers such as renowned graffiti artist Eric Wahl (we got to see this live), futuristic business analyst Mike Walsh (um, he’s kind of smart) and recording artist Jewel (let’s go old school here). And, according to their recent “by the numbers” post, ISPA handed out $10,000 worth of scholarships, as well as 17,000 meals to children through the World Food Program. We’ll repeat: it’s hard not to love ISPA.

Looking Ahead to 2015

With the year drawing to a close, our travel will tail off now as we prep for the holidays. But we’re already making big plans for 2015. We’ve already circled October 19-21 on our calendars. We bet you can guess why. Yep, that’s when next year’s ISPA Conference & Expo will be held. We’ll most definitely be there again. In fact, we’re already looking forward to it.
